ERIS :: It's called BEING HUMAN. There's an American version of the show, too. But . . . we all know British things are better.

And the lint roller secret is using a PET HAIR roller, instead of a 'normal' lint roller! They're phatter + stickier.

KYLIE :: I think all (ALL!) restaurants should serve fortune cookies with the check. Or chocolate mints, at the very least.

Whenever I encounter the word "obsession," the theme tune for Fashion Television jumps in my head!

I love your list of obsessions, and I second the Mr. Rogers and The Veronicas appreciation. I feel a bit sorry for those who don't realize that even the smallest things can have life-changing properties. A good lint brush can most definitely change your life!

As for my obsessions at the mo,' here are a few:

* Eisley. This band from Texas is a family effort, and features a tight-knit band of siblings. Their music is frickin' dreamy, and in my imagination, we hunt for fairies in the backyard before they invite me to stay for dinner.

* Restaurants that still serve up mints or other sweet things with the cheque. Even a mint-flavoured toothpick is ace!

* Jolts of gratitude that remind me how very lucky and blessed I am.

* Whiling away hours by making extremely detailed ink work for my little card business. Never mind that my parents are my main customers...

I'm pretty much in a state of perpetual fangirling, and that's ok with me. I see it as a nice reminder that at any given moment, there are a million people, places and things I can love.

Love is all encompassing. Our souls have experienced being both a man and a woman during the thousands of years existing on this plane. At this point, they recognize the beauty in each soul we meet rather than the sex that goes along with it. Somethings we just have to trust our inner guide, and not focus on the labels. We were designed to love; there are no rules on how or who.

Definitely a few take-aways for me here.... thank you! But I really feel compelled to comment about just how much I adore the phrase "self-imposed (and vaguely irrational) internal deadlines." Made me giggle this morning. So true!

I laughed because that is EXACTLY what my profile picture is. Minus the bathrobe. I don't even have an excuse since I have about 329 photographer friends. I'll fix it, I swear.

I think I'm good otherwise.
