A simple diagram that spells out your primary revenue streams and helps you prioritize your energy appropriately. Where’d it come from? I mind-birthed it during a coaching session with Michelle Ward.

Step 2: Cruel & Effective Homework Assignment.
Make a list of your current Base Clients, Second-Tier Clients, Third-Tier Clients, and Pro Bono Commitments. Are you overloaded, like a mofo? Do you need more juice in one tier, and less in another? Ink it out. Figure it out. And adjust your workload accordingly.

i love stuff like this. i read a bazillion marketing books, and whenever i see something like this, i’m always floored at how simple and practical it sounds, yet i never seem to put it into practice. if you can figure out a way to teach THAT part, i’ll buy all the books you ever write. (upfront!)
