Awhile ago, I posted some photos that inspired tremendous hair lust. Well, the lust has resurfaced.
This time ’round, I’m crushing on blue-black locks. High shine. Tiny forelocks. A little bit “My Little Pony.” A little bit “Superman.” Make sense? Probably not. All I know is that a change is coming … just as soon as Jenny from Moxie gets back from maternity leave.

How ’bout y’all? Any styles, chops or colors inspiring mega-hair lust?

I dream of shaving my head and getting two really phenomenal wigs. one like Kate Spade Creative Director Deborah Lloyd’s (http://ow.ly/2e59Q) and one like Michelle Williams circa this: http://www.revolutionbeauty.com/?p=37 but Brunette. I dream of going blonde, but I know what works with pale/pink skin, and it ain’t blonde.
JEANETTE: That Michelle Williams is such a cherubic doll. I love those flapper-esque pin curls! And btw, I think everyone should go blonde, at least once.
I have MASSIVE hair lust for Kashiyuka of the Japanese pop group, “Perfume.” The girl has THE most perfect hair, EVER– long, black hair, pin straight, with a full, blunt fringe. A-maaaaa-zing. (And actually a little bit along the lines of some of the pictures you posted!) Here’s a Tumblr link for tons of pictures– http://kashinoyuka.tumblr.com/page/5
I was seriously heartbroken when I went to the hairdresser and learned that I couldn’t pull off a full fringe like that because my hair wants to part RIGHT in the front all the time. BOO!
SAMANTHA: That’s the trouble with idolizing celebrities (or in my case, fictional characters)! I once became obsessed with an anime character’s choppy, asymmetrical bob hair (“Lain” from “Serial Experiments: LAIN”). I cut my hair just like hers, and could not understand why my hair wouldn’t behave like it was supposed to. Then I realized … I’m not a cartoon. Boots!
Just want to let you know that I fully endorse the planned hair change-up. I ‘specially adore photo #3. I can picture it now, on one Ms. Alexandra Franzen.
KYLIE: That asymmetrical bob? That one is my little sister’s favorite, too. Hmm!!! Decisions, decisions.
