Life Design: 2010

On Tuesday, I promised to share my new Hedy Lamarr-inspired Life Design.

Now, bear in mind that the following “schedule” is merely a guideline. I’m all about discipline, but I’m not a rigid freakazoid.

I’m shooting for equal parts Benjamin Franklin (limitless self-improvement) + Oscar Wilde (creative proliferation) + RuPaul (ferocious self-promotion) + Hedy Lamarr (intelligent hedonism).

Without further ado, here she is!

Do you have a daily routine, work schedule or self-imposed life structure? Do you want one? Why or why not?

‘What good shall I do this day?’

  2. nova says:

That sounds wonderful. It’s awesome that you’ve scheduled time for friends and physical activity.

  3. Ann says:

Love it!! The concept, the schedule, and the colors.

Over the years I’ve written up several ideal schedules, but since I have a 9-5 job (which is really an 8-6 job, if you count commuting), I have limited weekday hours in which to plan my real life, and by the end of the day I’m usually out of energy. And anyway, I have difficulty sticking to schedules (the best-laid plans, etc.), so I’m not sure it would matter.

    ANNA: Indeed! Ben Franklin forever!

NOVA: And sometimes, my friends & I engage in physical activities together! Like rock climbing! Or eating frozen yogurt vigorously!

ANN: Blurgh. Those 8-6 gigs can really suck it outta ya. Keep on fighting the good fight.

    I LOVE this!!!

YAY, Carmen! I love seeing you pop up ’round these parts. You’re an inspiration, miss thing.
