I have a humongous crush on the entire cast of Gossip Girl. Well, the entire female cast — although Nate Archibald is so winsome and coquettish, he’s practically a lady. Those lashes!

I’m not ashamed to admit that I’ve watched every single episode of this glitzy CW series. Not in the least. The fashion is fabulous, the writing is ridiculous (in a good way) and the casting is pure eye-candy across the board. It’s a daytime soap with primetime production values. Get into it.

In case you’ve been living on the moon for the past three seasons (or, y’know, have better things to do than watch teen dramas on TV) here’s a quick round-up of the lovely ladies of GG.

Serena Van Der Woodsen + Blair Waldorf

They’re Best Friends Forever — when they’re not mortal enemies. Serena lacks Blair’s discipline and nimble mind, while Blair envies the way that perfect jobs, boys and clothes seem to land effortlessly in her BFF’s lap. Now and then, they cuddle in bed and read Vogue together. And that’s pretty much all you need to know.

Vanessa Abrams

What she lacks in country club memberships and designer duds, Vanessa makes up for in bohemian charm, intelligence and ravishing good looks. And though she scoffs at her wealthier friends’ social-climbing schemes, she secretly longs to belong to the It-Girl crowd … if only to launch her nascent theater career.

Georgina Sparks

Everyone’s favorite good girl gone bad … then good again … then worse. Whether she’s decked out in leather and plotting Serena’s demise on the streets of NYC, or reforming her everlasting soul at church camp, Georgina always has a trick or two up her sleeve. Spoiler alert! She (allegedly) hooked up with Ms. Van Der Woodsen back in the day, while flying high on crack cocaine. Well, I never!

Jenny Humphrey
