I was just sitting on mah couch, nursing a vodka and tonic, wondering “what the eff is Bill Murray doing these days?”
So I went to his IMDB page and read that he is (allegedly!!!) going to be starring in the forthcoming Ghostbusters III movie!!!!!!!!

Sigourney Weaver, Anna Faris and Eliza Dushku are also “rumored” to be appearing in the film. I’m going to pass out.
And then I realized that I have a mad crush on the entire cast of Ghostbusters.
When the movie comes out in 2011, I wanna go to the premiere dressed as Egon, with three friends accompanying me as Peter, Ray and Dana. Who’s with me?!?

Another Ghostbusters?!?! OMG! Will it be greatly amazingly wonderful like #1 and #2? Will it fail to compare?? Or is it a hoax meant to excite fanboys like me only to dash their dreams?!!? The suspense is killing me!
My mum constantly walks around saying “shut up man, I’m a scientist” and when dad and I visited NYC we planned a special trip to Dana’s apartment. I love those movies – they ARE my childhood – and I have now developed an irrational distrust of people who haven’t seen those films.
People who don’t like “Ghostbusters” are probably ghosts in disguise and ought not be trusted.
My husband is such a Ghostbusters freak that he knows all the Ghostbusters landmarks in NYC, and had us take some engagement shots in front of the building that Sigourney Weaver lived in in the movie. I joke that when he retires in 32 years, he’s gonna give Ghostbusters tours. So keep the sequels coming!
Oh, there’s also a Ghostbusters video game that features all their voices. Hope you don’t have to buy a Wii now :)
