I didn’t watch the Grammy’s last Sunday night, but you can bet your bottom dollar that I ferociously scoured the Interwebs for photos of red carpet fashion.

Overall, I was impressed! Sparkles, sequins and studs were de rigueur, though certain celebs wisely accessorized with charming fedora caps (and / or children). Bold, architectural designs and futuristic gowns ruled the night.

Take Ms. Lady Gaga, for example:

Gaga’s spiny glitterball gown is off the chain! And that neon-yellow hair is such a clever reworking of the traditional Hollywood blonde. It’s like Glinda the Good Witch fell into a pool of toxic sludge and clawed her way out. Love it.

Meanwhile, Paramore’s lead singer Hayley Williams traded her usual shaggy red rocker-do for a coiffed 1930s wave. Adorbs.

Blink 182′s Travis Barker brought along a miniature version of himself, comprised of 50% of his own DNA. Technology! It’s amazing. What will they come up with next?

Usher looked suave, shiny and unfettered, as one would expect. I saw a pic of him posing cozily with Mya — are they dating, or was it merely a publicity shot? The intrigue! The drama! The–oh wait, bored already.

Big-winner Beyoncé looked fiiiiiiierce in her studded leather corset frock. Olivia, if you’re reading this, remember when we watched that documentary called “Above & Beyoncé”? That was the best hour of my life.

I have no idea who Ne-Yo is (I’m going to hazard a guess and say, “a rapper?”) but he’s my new hero.

This last one’s just for you, Anna! Isn’t Mr. Elvis Costello looking very dapper in his brisk red cap?
