Oh, Billie Piper. First you captivated millions with the sugary late-nineties album Honey to the B. You rocked the world of sci-fi spin-offs as the supernaturally awesome Rose on Doctor Who. Then you deftly transitioned into the role of Belle Du Jour on Secret Diary of Call Girl. You even found time to “write” an autobiography. Teen pop songstress, time-traveling companion, high-class prostitute, best-selling “author” — is there any role you can’t play? Any scene you can’t steal? Any heart you can’t melt?

Even the fact that you recently popped out a baby and married a man doesn’t detract from your loveliness in the slightest.

Ms. Piper: if I’m ever fortunate enough to make your acquaintance, I might succumb to an attack of the vapors and faint onto a nearby chaise-longue. Just ignore me.
